A rare Hermès beach coat in terry cotton, made in Belgium, a construction reserved for the house's resort and swim accessories. The all-over woven leopard motif with tropical flora is a signature of Hermès's archival print program, rendered here in a large-format terry weave rather than the more common silk twill. The "HERMES PARIS" cartouche woven into the hem confirms its place in the archive. Pieces like this surface rarely and represent the lesser-documented side of Hermès ready-to-wear.
